The story behind Enduro

Anyone who has ever set off on a trip with a caravan or motorhome knows the feeling: after a long drive, you finally arrive at the campsite, and that’s when the real work begins. The caravan has to be manoeuvred perfectly into position, or the motorhome needs to be levelled out. And if you want to explore the local area? Then it’s nice to know that your (electric) bikes have travelled safely and securely on the tow bar.

We thought there must be an easier and quicker way. After all, a holiday is all about relaxing. Whether you’re travelling in a motorhome or a caravan, our products are designed to take the hassle out of your trip.

But how did the Enduro brand actually come about, and what is the driving force behind our innovations? We’d love to take you on a journey through the story behind Enduro!

Tradekar House of Leisure Brands

Enduro has its roots in Tradekar, based in Culemborg. The foundations for this were laid back in the 1990s, when the founder, Mr Van de Kar Sr., began importing and marketing innovative car accessories across Europe. What began as a keen eye for market needs soon grew into a great success.

Today, Tradekar is a well-established name and a specialist in the field of innovative camping and leisure accessories. The Tradekar House of Leisure Brands umbrella now encompasses a total of six brands, each with its own technical specialism in the fields of mobile power supply, electronics and leisure.

Thanks to decades of technical expertise and a deep passion for the leisure industry, Tradekar transforms clever ideas into tangible, high-quality products. Enduro is proud to be one of these brands, and we continually benefit from the collective knowledge and experience of our other brands.

Enduro: its origins and growth

2005
The year in which an ambitious idea took shape at Tradekar. At the time, a manoeuvring system was a luxury that was by no means affordable for everyone. Our mission became clear straight away: everyone should have access to a high-quality manoeuvring system at a fair, affordable price.

2007
That year, a great deal of hard work went on behind the scenes, leading to the successful launch of the very first Enduro manoeuvring system. It proved to be a huge success. The market embraced the product, but we didn’t rest on our laurels.

2012
To meet the huge demand and be able to apply the latest technologies straight away, we opened a brand-new factory in 2012.

Today, Enduro has grown to become one of the biggest players in the market. Our focus remains firmly on the very same promise: user-friendly products offering good value for money.

The Enduro range

Whilst we started out with caravan movers, Enduro has since grown into a one-stop shop for comfort on the road. Our range has been designed entirely around the motto: ‘For more time on holiday!’

Manoeuvring systems: choose between a semi-automatic or fully automatic manoeuvring system, operated via the My Enduro App or the remote control. Manoeuvre your caravan as smoothly and precisely as possible into your desired spot using the soft start-stop system.
Batteries (lithium): our lightweight lithium batteries have been specially developed to deliver maximum power without adding unnecessary weight to your motorhome or caravan. They are also maintenance-free, making them ideal for permanent installation in your caravan.
Bike carriers: exploring the local area by (electric) bike is an integral part of any holiday. Enduro offers a complete range of bike carriers, including models for fitting to a car’s tow bar, to the chassis of a campervan, and specifically for mounting on a caravan’s drawbar.

Always on the move
Together with our partners, we’re constantly innovating. The world of camping is changing, caravans are becoming more modern, and Enduro is keeping pace. All so that you can enjoy your carefree holiday!
