Which A-frame bike carrier is best for you?

It is a familiar scene at the campsite: you have just arrived and want to open the gas cylinder or grab the power cable from the storage space, but the bikes are still on the carrier. The big advantage is that the BC model weighs only 10 kilos, making it a lightweight yet solid addition to your A-frame. Despite its compact build, it effortlessly carries heavy (electric) bikes up to a total of 60 kilos. You will not have to worry about stability while on the road.

Enduro BS260 and BS260 Black Edition

If you own a caravan with a short A-frame, you will often find that a standard bike carrier is too large or that your storage locker door gets blocked by the bikes. Enduro developed the BS260 specifically for these compact A-frames.

Which one suits your caravan best?

The BS260 offers the same functionality as the BC260, but features a specially designed, more compact frame. As the carrier sits closer to the caravan on a short drawbar, Enduro has increased the sliding distance from approximately 34 cm to a full 50 cm. These extra centimetres ensure that your drawbar flap can still open fully, despite the short drawbar.

The key improvement in this bike carrier lies in the way your bikes are secured. The traditional straps found on a BC260 have been replaced by ratchet straps on the BS260. It works just like a ski binding: you feed the strap through, ratchet it tight a few times until your bike is secure. It’s quick, easy and ideal for bikes with wider frames.

Is space on your drawbar box limited because it’s a short model, or do you simply want to benefit from the convenience of ratchet straps? Then you can opt for the BS260.
